You can
own a piece of Indonesian culture and history. The
Indonesian becak pronounced (bay-cha) has been
around for about fifty years serving as an
economical way for people to get around Indonesia.
Our becak's come from Bandung City in West Java and
are unique to that area. They are fast disappearing as more cars and
motorcycles take their place. In Jakarta the becak
has already vanished from the streets. These becaks
make great merchandising tools or displays. They are
completely functional and are a “piece of artwork on
wheels” as some say. They are painted with elaborate
colors and designs depicting scenes of Indonesia and
Indonesian Hero’s. |
